It is a door that can never be closed.

Unimaginable monsters
Pain.
It tempts me and calls my name.
Shut my eyes, walk away.
It tortures my dreams
Wishes to be released.

Its fiendish friends lie all around us.
Loneliness.
Famine.
Death.
Their eyes are of red
They watch me as I drift past
Their victims cry for help but I do not hear.
My mind is full
With the door,

Grab the crystal knob
Turn it, throw the door open

Nothing.
Just darkness.
A suffocating darkness.
It sucks you in
Will not let you go.
